The Pantheon Specific Purview of the Norse pantheon.

Size of an Ox[]

(Jotunblot )
Dice Pool: None
Cost: None
Action: Passive
Being an heir to the blood of the giants, a Scion with this boon gains one additional health level per two dots in Jotunblot he possess.

Fateful Heritage[]

(Jotunblot )
Dice Pool: None
Cost: None
Action: Passive
The Aesir are renowned for their prowess in battle as well as their prowess in crafting poems. Fate however, weaves a slow never-ending weave around the Aesir, thus never ceasing to bind them harder to their impending doom in Ragnarrok. A Scion with this Knack may spend Willpower instead of Legend when powering boons and other supernatural abilities. This is treated just as if the Scion had used a Legend Point and incurs fatebindings.

Heritage of Strength[]

(Jotunblot )
Dice Pool: None
Cost: None
Action: Passive
As the asgardians are descended from giants, their bodies are stronger and tougher than the other pantheons. The limit for an asgardian's Epic strength is increased by one, up to a maximum of 10. you can't buy ultimate strength earlier than other pantheons. The drawback of this Knack is that Fate seems to bend easier around the character, further sealing his role in ragnarrok. Treat his legend as one higher when making a fatebound roll that was caused by his strength.

Heritage of Endurance[]

(Jotunblot )
Dice Pool: None
Cost: None
Action: Passive
Much like the previous dot, the Scion can now buy one additional rank of Epic Stamina as if he were a legend higher. The drawback of this Knack is that Fate seems to bend easier around the character, further sealing his role in ragnarrok. Treat his legend as one higher when making a fatebound roll that was caused by his Stamina.

Bound By Fate[]

(Jotunblot )
Dice Pool: Special, see text
Cost: 1 Willpower
Action: Reaction (to other Action)
All gods are affected by fate and more so are the gods of the asgardian pantheon. Since the dawn of their pantheon, they have struggled against fate, Ragnarrok and the prophecies surrounding the end of the nine worlds. Likewise, the Scions of the asgardian pantheon becomes entwined into the threads of fate and are likewise affected as their elder brethren. When this power is taken, the player of the Scion designates a positive Role that fate has designated him at the end times and the Storyteller designates a negative role togheter with the player. Note that the roles should be equal on scope and generality. I.e. if a player decides to simply take "Slayer" as a positive role to be able to gain legend points at every time he slays an opponent, the negative role should be able to come into play as often as that.

Whenever the Scion does anything that relates to his positive role (such as the Scion being a 'slayer of giants' and kills one or more giants in battle), he may spend the activation cost of this boon and regain a number of Legend points equal to the successes on a roll that relates to the action (such as Strength + Melee for destroying the giants).

Whenever the Scion is placed in a position where he must chose to act in a way that is enforced by his negative role (such as an 'Oathbreaker' breaking an oath he made) he must act according to this role or loose a number of Legend Points equal to his Legend.

The Blood of Legends[]

(Jotunblot )
Dice Pool: Appearance + Occult
Cost: 1 Willpower per 3 legend points
Action: Misc
Being bound by fate can sometimes be a problem, but fate can also help an Aesir in need of a surge of power. By using this Boon, the Scion of the Aesir infuses himself with power from his own pool of willpower. By spending 1 Willpower, he regains 3 Legend points. He can gain a maximum amount of legend points equal to his activation roll during a given scene.

Fated Exchange[]

(Jotunblot )
Dice Pool: Charisma + Occult
Cost: 1 Legend + 1 Willpower per step
Action: Misc
Fate is fickle and so is a Scion who possess this power. While in the presence of someone he's fatebound too (be it a mortal or a legendary being), he can ask fate to weaken their connection so as to avoid having to fight that particular foe (or remain with that particular person) during Ragnarrok. When activating this boon, the Scion spends a number of Legend points and willpower to reduce the fatebinding strength to that person. The downside to this boon is that when lessening the binding of one of his fatebindings, the Scion either creates or increases the strength of another fatebinding by the same number of steps. This binding is secretly chosen by the Storyteller.

Special: For fatebindings above strength 6, double the cost to decrease them by 1 step. So a strength 7 fatebinding would be reduced to 0 by spending 8 legend points and 8 willpower.

Fateful Oath[]

(Jotunblot )
Dice Pool: Charisma + Politics
Cost: 1 Legend per legend dot of the target
Action: Misc
To the Aesir, the one thing you do not break is your word... an oath made by an aesir can be one of the most powerful things if fate wills it so. Whenever a target makes an oath or swears to fulfill something, the Scion can step forth and ask him to repeat himself. If he so does willingly, the Scion can pay the activation cost of this boon to instantly create fatebindings such that the target must perform the promised oath or be branded as an oathbreaker and loose all his legend dots until he has managed to fulfill the oath. The maximum number of days a character has to perform said oath (something that he knows, is equal to the activtation roll of this boon.
