Daniel Mounta is one of the fastest people alive. He was granted superhuman speed when exposed to a powerful photonic boom, created through a hole in the time-space fabric. The energy that he was fused with made him go faster and faster until there was almost no stop. He did stop however, thanks to another photonic boom nearby. He has kept his powers as a secret from his friends and until recently, evens his family (see Teen Titans #23). He told his brother however, as he had to save him from another superhuman speedster called ‘Arch-lightning’, who later renamed himself into Max V
Daniel is a caring person who does what he can to be a good person and constantly tries to push his abilities further. He’s known to care too much sometimes and he has taken the watch at the Titans tower for so long that he fell asleep several times. He likes to pose himself as a gentleman, but sometimes having super speed becomes to much for him to handle and he makes practical jokes on people.
Quick was killed by his own powers as he raced to save a pale Martian, named Marr, from being sent to the phantom zone. His powers overloaded and he dissolved into high-speed molecules. He was returned to life by Wish however; who reunited the molecules and returned his conscious to our reality, but something’s wrong… he can no longer feel anything.
After having defeated the being that was “Supernova”, Quick returned to reality with Wish, after having spent almost a month inside an out of phase dimension, to meet up with Chase again. His powers somewhat altered by the dimensional barriers he passed through, Quick has now slowly started to evolve into an energy being, vastly different than his former energy incarnation.
